Teplore was honored to take part in the China-Malaysia Summit 2024, held in Kuala Lumpur to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Malaysia. This significant event celebrated five decades of friendship, collaboration, and shared achievements in trade, innovation, and sustainable development.
The summit was graced by the presence of Malaysia's Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, and Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Ouyang Yujing, who were joined by industry leaders from both nations. Their participation underscored the importance of continued bilateral cooperation in fostering innovation and sustainable growth.
As a key highlight, our CEO, Cheney Chen, participated as a Panel Speaker at the EV Forum, where he shared insights on the critical role of integrating Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with EV infrastructure to:
l Act as a buffer between the grid and EVs, optimizing grid efficiency by stabilizing energy flow and managing peak loads.
l Minimize infrastructure investment by reducing the need for costly grid upgrades.
l Lower operational costs by enabling smoother energy distribution and better demand response.
The event also featured a 3-day International Trade and Investment Exposition and Leadership Conference, which provided an excellent platform for building connections and reinforcing Teplore’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Minister of Transport, the Chinese Ambassador, the organizers, and all participants for making this historic event a resounding success. Teplore remains dedicated to shaping a sustainable future and enhancing the efficiency of energy systems worldwide.
