Teplore has successfully deployed a 2.75MW/5.83MWh energy storage system at the STO Express Headquarters in Shanghai. This project enhances energy efficiency, reduces costs, and supports STO Express’s commitment to sustainable logistics.
Founded in 1993, STO Express is one of China’s leading courier companies, operating over 4,500 hubs and 25,000 service stations nationwide. As logistics demand grows, energy consumption at sorting centers and distribution hubs is increasing. Teplore’s energy storage system helps manage peak loads, lower electricity costs, and improve grid stability.
The system consists of 22 Tensorpack T units (125kW/265kWh each) and integrates with a 400V transformer for efficient energy management. It also connects to a 6MW photovoltaic (PV) system, storing excess solar power during the day and discharging it at night or during cloudy conditions, reducing reliance on the grid and maximizing renewable energy use.
Designed for both grid-connected and off-grid operation, the system ensures continuous power supply during outages, keeping STO Express’s logistics hub running smoothly.
This project aligns with global sustainability goals, promoting clean energy, smart infrastructure, and carbon reduction. Teplore remains committed to expanding green, intelligent energy solutions worldwide.
